Art Kjos, AIA and Executive Director of Planning, Design and Construction, has informed of his intention to retire on 7/31/2018. Art has been with the institution since 2014 and made valuable contributions within Campus Operations during his short time with us. When recruited, Art was owner/partner of Clark/Kjos Architecture in Portland Oregon. His firm was responsive to many healthcare clients in the northwest interested in Lean Design and improving both customer satisfaction and optimal throughput of their environments. He has been a lifetime partner to healthcare and has worked with some very impressive clients including Virginia Mason, Swedish, Sisters of Providence, Kaiser Permanente and many others.
