It is the ideal time for me to gain monitory steadiness. I have been a homemaker in excess of six years. I am a single parent, with 2 young ladies, 23, 17 and a 14 year old extraordinary needs child. My girls are heading in the right direction preparing for their future. I have employed a fabulous caretaker to help me with my son special needs. The caretaker will have the capacity to do all that I can, so I do not need to be there. This has provided for me a great deal of time free of anxiety. I can go to vocation, or examine my alternatives. I did not earn a College degree. I am unquestionably considering going back to college.

I like how the program is situated, and what it offers. Farther into research, I discovered that The Art Institute Programs is exceptionally extravagant in cost. I decided to seek farther for other alternative. I went to CPCC Harper Campus to see a career counselor, and to ask for any recommendations. CPCC has a brilliant culinary program and the cost of the program is very reasonable. I spoke with Counselor Mr. Tate. He suggested that I take a gander at different projects; to check whether I would be intrigued by something else. I considered the different programs that would be of interest to me and that could bring financial stability as well as comfort for my family and me. There is no institution in Charlotte NC that offers this program. I would have to choose between Chapel Hill, NC, and Salem NC. Both places is about two hours to commute to school. I have a lot to consider, if this would be something I would want to pursue for a degree. I am weighing my options. I figure maybe once I earned the Associate in Applied Science, I can go back and complete the culinary program to farther my passion in cooking and maybe I can start a catering business, open a restaurant, or become a private chef. This is something I considerably have to contemplate.
Most dental hygienist work in private or public dental clinics or dental offices. The ability to create a flexible schedule is an added benefit of this career. The BLS notes that as of 2010, 60% of hygienists worked as part- time employees (www.bls.gov).
Due to the increasing reliance of dentists on their hygienists, the employment rate for this profession is growing much faster than average. The BLS anticipated a 38% growth in job openings for hygienist from 2010-2020. Older adults are keeping their teeth longer, and paying more attention to their dental care, which also will contribute to this
