The artist that made the “Beguiling Lore” painting used different colors to make the piece stand out except for the black that is shown. The colors are also bright with the colors over top of each other and it would be brighter if you added white or pink to the mix. The texture looks as if you would really be touching a string with a ball on kind of like the one’s on a blind in a house. The background of the painting looks chaotic and the crow is just looking at the piece of work that he might seem to understand even though he’s a crow. The shape of the painting looks two-dimensional as the lines on it looks real and it makes you think twice if it's an illusion. The value of this painting is more toward lightness, but it's not the color white
