The piece starts out on a half-pipe the quintessential image you think of when you think of skate boarders. All the writings and the statements are put onto the half-pipe, and painted onto boards with different shapes, and every one is so individual to the one who made it. Many of the phrases are like the stereotypes associated with skaters, non-conformists, rebellious youth, and problems with authority. The overall artwork does not try to be pretty, some of the handwriting is messy and hard to read, words do not fit perfectly onto the boards, and the artists used strong authoritative words to describe what they wanted.
