Their own judgement of the students there is holding them back from getting to know some of the most kind-hearted kids I have ever met. I believe that everyone deserves to be respected equally and treated fairly no matter their body image, race, etc., and specifically their learning capabilities.
One part of my life that often goes unnoticed is my will to connect with others and genuinely get to know them as people. Although it is an unnoticed trait, it is not one to be discounted. It has brought me new appreciation in the classroom and in the community. This trait makes group work, with even the most diverse group, simple. It has taught me to understand the amount a person can contribute then having them do so. I could not be a great leader without being accepting without judgement.
As my peers mature I hope that this trait I possess comes to be a noticeable, respected part of my character. I also hope that their maturity leads them to a path where they can have an experience much like I have had in the Arrowhead Coffee Shop. In my final months left at school, I will cherish the time I have with the kids who may go unnoticed in the classroom because they truly hold a special place in my
