Mr. Bowen And Arnie Case Analysis

Arnie has gotten himself in quite a pickle here. Due to his curiosity, the future of many other people are in his hands. The issue here is that Arnie now know all about the murder that Mr. Bowen got away with. Arnie has to choose to do the right thing here, and he must choose carefully, due to the circumstances. Fred also knows about this issue, but he has chosen not to tell anyone and advises Arnie to do the same for the future and reputation of the company and the people who work there. If Arnie chooses one path, the entire company could run out of business because nobody would trust the business. Everyone who currently works in the business could have a lot of trouble getting jobs in the future. Arnie would also have these same problems, …show more content…
Bowen, then the public knows that Arnie killed a customer, causing many potential customers to lose interest in the company, causing the company to go out of business and lose reputation. This hurts Fred and all the employees. If Arnie tells Mr. Bowen that he knows about the murder, this could give Mr. Bowen great fear that his secret could be leaked, putting both Mr. Bowen and Arnie in great danger. This choice doesn’t really affect the company, as it is now between Mr. Bowen and Arnie. If Arnie tells Mr. Bowen 's family about the murder, Bowen would be very concerned that the information was leaked without his consent, even if his family tried to help him with his anger issues. The company would not be affected much by this choice. If Arnie told the victim’s family about the murder, Mr. Bowen’s fate would be in the hands of the victim’s family, whether they would want Mr. Bowen arrested, killed, or if just knowing who the murderer was was enough to give them peace. This choice would also not affect the company. If Arnie hired a hitman to kill Mr. Bowen, Mr. Bowen would not be able to cause any more harm to others, but this would cause Mr. Bowen to die, and Arnie could be arrested if someone found out about the hit. If I say nothing, the company is safe, my job is safe, and customers keep coming to the company for help with their computers. Mr. Bower also ends up as another happy customer with his tax information saved, and his murder secrets dead with the computer.
