The novel “Christine” written by the Author Stephen King tells the story of Arnie Cunningham who fell in love of a Plymouth Fury car model dated 1958 and named “Christine” which looked like a wreck.

He decided to buy the car despite the advice of his friend Dennis.

His parents were totally opposite to this idea, Arnie’ mother would have preferred him to keep the money for later going to University.

He brought the car to the Farnell’s do-it-yourself auto-repair workshop in order to restore it.
People present at that time were surprised to see that the replacement of the more complicated repairs did appear to be completed by Christine itself.

While they were seated in the car eating a hamburger, Leight nearly choked to death but was saved.

Leight noticed Arnie that something strange happened during the incident, the car’s dashboard switched to green eyes.

She understood that Christine was jealous and decided not to get into the car again.
After this incident Arnie’s father decided to abandon the car.

Later Buddy, a bad student who was expelled from the High school decided with his gang to vandalize the car.

At least four people were killed by a mysterious car that looked similar to Christine.
One night, Darnell admitted to having seen Christine came back and parked alone in the garage. After that Darnell was found dead crushed.

Taking advantage of an absence of Arnie, Leigh and Denis decided to destroy Christine.
Unfortunately they later heard about the death of Arnie and his mother in a car accident.
Finally all the Cunningham’s family died as his father Michael was also killed earlier by Christine.
Some years later Dennis read in the newspaper that one of the last surviving gang member who had vandalized Arnie's car was killed by a car.

Dennis wondered that Christine had rebuilt itself and was going to take
