This is the main reason balancing the roles of leaders is important. Depending on how well those relationships align between the Chain of Command and Soldiers will influence the mindsets of Army Professionals. What cannot be understood means it’s unable to change, that is how the Army Professional Culture transpire? If an individual in the profession cannot comprehend what is wrong with an organization how can he fix anything? The Army Culture bases itself on how we do things. The student handout (2010) state “Army culture is the system of shared meaning held by its Soldiers, “the shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterize the larger institution over time.” (p.9) an organization’s values and beliefs generally replicates what it finds to be functionally operational in times of strong need.
