1. Purpose: To provide an outline on reshaping the future of the Army in selecting, developing, sustaining, and transitioning Soldiers and Army Civilians in the Army Human Dimension.
2. Background. This concept is being pursued by the Army to create a more adaptable force by including “human objectives” into the implementation of strategic, operational and tactical plans of the Army.

The squad. This concept will affect the squad in that the Army must be mindful of advancement in technology. Advancement in technology can influence a Soldier and squad physically and intellectually. This concept also gives squad leaders the ability to be entrusted with more information and are expected to be emotionally mature and have improved awareness of situations and judgment . Operational effectiveness will also be improved by the development of teamwork which will decrease substantial resources.
5. Military problem. This concept is attempting to resolve the problem in which Soldiers and team performance need to be maximized to its fullest potential. This can be done by identifying the issues, providing them with new, appropriate, and realistic training, and tools necessary to accomplish this task. This concept also wants to have more mature and well-developed people who can be adaptable within the force.
6. Central idea. The central idea behind this concept is to enhance job, cognitive, and physical performance of each soldier and civilian and teams within the Army.
