My mornings consist of waking up the facing the upward direction and as I turn to my left, my eyes stop where they then meet a young boy’s body. I am 10 years old and apart of the military and in a couple of minutes all of us members of the military will be waking up and I will be holding a ten pound gun that goes over my small body. I run checkpoints here in this village, but this is what my life is now and there is no complaining. In the two articles “Armed & Underage” and “The Charge: Genocide,” there is no equity in those countries in which the civilians live in. Children who are underage are being forced into becoming apart of the military and the villagers are not able to do anything about the violence occurring in their country.

This is supporting the claim that equity may be present because justice is what the people want, the attacks are leading to that not being possible but now they believe that by detaining investigation could be the key to solving this issue. the Although people may say that, “Armed & Underage” then states, “He now lives with other government soldiers in a filthy house littered with cigarette boxes and smelly clothes. Awil doesn't know exactly how old he is, but his commander says he's around 12. Awil is paid about $1.50 a day, but only every now and then, like most soldiers. His bed is a fly-covered mattress that he shares with two other child soldiers…” Awil may be doing what he enjoys to do rather than not being in school but the conditions that he lives under are cruel. He has to share a mattress with two others and live in unsanitary conditions on top of that. This is supporting my claim that equity is not present because while Awil should have his own personal space or at least be with his family rather than more kid soldiers and in an unsafe environment, that is exactly what he does not
