Arkansas,a place where everyone can go for summer fun and relaxation. In the summer of 2013 Alexis Charlton and her family went boating in Arkansas for three days. Alexis and her family went to Arkansas because her grandparents own a house on the lake.Alexis first had to drive for nine hours in a car with her siblings,Carraghan and Brett,and her parents. During the long drive her parents stopped at six flags to ride different carnival rides.When they finally reached their grandparents’ house they said hello and had lasagna for dinner that their grandma had prepared.The next morning they woke up and went straight to their grandparents dock to go boating.Once they were out on the water with their grandpas sport speed boat they were ready to go tubing. Alexis was the first one to get on and she was very nervous because she did not want to hurt herself.While getting onto the inner tube she almost fell off,but kept her balance.When her grandpa started the boat she was not prepared for the big waves coming towards her body.Her inner tube was going very fast and going side to side.Another strong wave came and she went flying off her inner tube and into the water.

After finding a man who works at the marina he told him about his situation. The kind man told him that he would walk across the rocks to see what was wrong with the boat. When the two of the men reached the boat with Alexis and her family on he could see the problem right away, it was wedged into the rocks where he parked the boat. The man who worked at the marina needed to go back to the marina to get a boat that would be able to tow Alexis’s grandpa’s boat out of the rocks. Once they found a towing boat they hooked it up to the tip of Alexis’s grandpa's boat to pull it out. After a few tries they finally got the boat out and the Charltons were very thankful for such a kind
