I graduated from Arizona State University in May 2009; I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in communication. I am interested in the Master of Mass Communications Program offered at the Walter Cronkite School because of its well-established reputation. You will find my educational background and overall life experiences directly applicable to the foundation of your journalism school.

During my junior year at ASU, I established my own business "Legend Affairs". An upscale an event planning and promotions company, created to help its customers increase public awareness and business brand. As the visionary, It was my job to coordinate every aspect of production. The best aspects of this work was interacting with a variety of people and the excitement of managing many details of a project.

While my academic and entrepreneurial efforts thus far have been educational and provided hands-on experience, I feel these skills to be foundational at this point, and that they would be deepened and broadened by my studies at the Cronkite School. I want to take an active role in helping media grow to new levels. There’s a real opportunity to help shape the future of journalism and communications. I understand this career path requires many moving parts to work efficiently. I am humble and more than willing to take on both big and small tasks – from reporting full stories to cutting selects for others. I want to help create never-ending stories that will transcend to the masses.
