It’s a natural instinct for people to judge another individual if they display the same actions repeatedly, and if someone chooses to drink heavily everyday after work, it’s safe to say that they might just have a problem. It was somewhat of a forward statement to make given that everyone is different, and the mental stability to be strong enough to break a habit has to be there to take the first step to becoming a better individual. I would like to put more attention on another statement made by Aristotle about the responsibility that an individual has about their “slackness”. I am all for taking responsibility for your actions, but in the case of someone who has an addiction problem or any type of problem at all that they feel like they can’t control because of their problem, it makes me think that they are putting the blame somewhere other then on themselves. Everyone has a choice in what they choose to do and what they choose not to do, and blaming the actions of what comes from a poor choice that someone willingly chose to make, just seems like an excuse to
