What is fear and how does it relate to courage? Well people wonder what fear really is; and it is a mental process of thinking which in other words is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous. Then people may ask how does courage come into play and what is it and courage is the strength in the face of pain or grief to continue on. Without one it can’t be the other they make up each other meaning you can’t have courage without fear and it goes the other way around too so they need each other to survive.

Most people are terrified to face it, so they skip around like acting brave when they really not. For example, I meet an 11 and 12 year old girl and the 11 year old girl was crying because her cousin that was 12 had scared her by saying that the house has demons in it and that they were coming to get her. The 11 year old girl broke down and she was shaking, rocking, and crying because she was so scared and her cousin was making worst by feeding her more stories. Then the girl was screaming on the top of her lungs that she not going in and that she just going to wait and her cousins was like you can’t because I can’t watch you from the inside of the haunted house. Finally I turned around and I comfort her by holding her and telling that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, but she kept crying because she wanted to trust me but she just couldn’t because she was that scared. So I took her by the hand and lead her in the haunted house and I told her to breath and she walk in and she faced her fear. At the end I told her we can keep running and never face the true facts that we are scared and let that mess up our lives or we can overcome this …show more content…
When an individual is fear spiritual then one is mentally not stable. To illustrate this is when they are too scared to even test the waters. An example of courage spiritual is when one is a free spirit. Together they work great together because they balanced out, but if one without the other can mess up a person internally. Furthermore, people that are the so called “bad boy or bad girl” are the free or courage spirits and the shy people would be the people that have fear in their spirit. The person that has both of them can risk something meaning they will be free as a bird at times and at other times they play it safe.
Temperate plays a big role in fear and courage no matter what. First we need to know what is temperate and it is showing moderation or self-restraint. The way temperate relate to courage is because to have courage you have to have self – controlled the reason behind is because you can’t let all of that go to your head and for fear it relate because you have to have discipline to keep being
