In 1965 Robin Nicholas started working for the Monotype Drawing Studio drawing office in the UK. One of the skills that you had to know was how to create the letters freehand and making them accurate. It was the time of the hot metal machines creating the type and precision was key. I think fonts are a like but they really threw the book at Arial. I think every font has a place and that you pick the font that you think will work best in the project that you need it for. Also I am finding that there was not a lot of information on Patricia Saunders even though she has other font she created under her belt. It was almost like she help but a little toward the end of the project, which was wired to
