In Status Update, Marwick states “Status is a powerful tool that reveals the values and assumptions shared by a group; it shows power dynamics and the limits of egalitarian ideals.” President Trump has become “Twitter-armed”, he has so much power and influence towards many big parties that one of his tweets can possibly start a war. Many Twitter users have raised questions such as why POTUS Twitter account hasn't been deactivated since he has broken some rules such as sent threats, harassed others, and encourages illegal activities. But, because he is the POTUS and if they shut him down, the American people will be left in the dark.
