In today’s world, many have brought up worries and concerns about possible dangers concerning vaccinations. Some say that vaccinations place infants at risk for such diseases as Autism, due to the preservatives found in the vaccinations. One such preservative is mercury which is also found in fish due to human oceanic activity. Should those same people avoid fish as well? Others say that they do not want the vaccines due to the fact that it involves placing a dead virus into the body and that is a scary thought for many who are faced with this dilemma. Others still do not want to be involved with vaccinations because it conflicts with their religious or spiritual beliefs, but do these beliefs outweigh the needs of the common good in a global economy that supplies its food from an array of countries? It must be noted that food is a common transmission and petri dish for many diseases. Remember mad cow disease? In the global economy of today, viruses and diseases mutate into vicious and incurable advisories which can spread from continent to continent with the ease of modern aircrafts. Ebola, zika, whooping cough, and Avian flu are all epidemics plaguing today’s global economy and claiming millions. This question is very controversial and often opposing sides get very heated. However, a tipping system makes restaurant adventures quite uncomfortable at times and is even used to punish staff for perceived dissatisfactory service. Should customers be allowed to punish workers by withholding life sustaining income? A tipping system also implies that it is up to customers to feed, shelter, and cloth the staff working at the restaurant even though they are employed through the restaurant or company. Whose job is it really to pay the workers of a company? The company or the restaurant would like customers to think it was the customer’s job to do so while they rake in profits from the goods and services that are provided. In other countries tips are frowned upon and looked at as disrespectful; as if to say poor server cannot even afford to live here is some money. Server’s in other countries deny tips due to the fact that they don’t want to be a charity case. Is this due to a big ego or is this common sense that implies that they are paid a fair wage for their work? They rely on their job to provide for life’s needs. So, why is it so different in America?
