Arguments Against Undocumented Immigrants

Undocumented Immigrants There are 11.1 million illegal immigrants in the US. I think they should have a path to citizenship in the US as long as they have a background check so we know who is coming into our country. If we don’t know who is coming into the US it is very dangerous. But at the same time there are families who want to come into our country for a better life. We can let them in as long as we know who they are. With ISIS becoming so strong, it is dangerous to have them be able to come in. They can walk right in and harm the US.
One important reason that undocumented immigrants should be deported is it will increase competition for jobs if undocumented immigrants are here. I’m sure of that but 30% of all federal prisons inmates are undocumented immigrants. From the USMessageBoard website, it says “The NDTA (National Drug Threat Assessment) by the department of justice identified drug organizations from Mexico are the greatest criminal threat to the United States.” This proves that having people we don't even know come into our country will put us in danger. It's like having strangers in your house that you don’t even know. Therefore, having illegal immigrants in the United States is a flawed idea. I believe the people from another country deserve a path to citizenship in the US as long as we know who they are. I think that illegal immigrants can also help the US economy.
