Woman shouldn't be given the option of abortion. Abortion is a dangerous and painful procedure. Abortion is going against the Constitution by depriving a life, but also abortion can cause medical complications and psychological trauma. Abortion is a painful process afterwards for the woman and her family. Abortion should be made illegal because a woman who's a United States citizen shouldn't go against the Constitution, but also they shouldn't go through medical complications or psychological trauma. Abortion is a deprivement of life. Abortion is taking away a child's right to live. Also theoretically abortion is murder, and murder is illegal so why keep a type of murder legal? Why take away the life of a child? Everyone has the right to live. One reason why woman should be able to have abortions is because If abortion is illegal women will use an unsafe and or illegal abortion. Also it's the woman's body, they have the right to do whatever they want with it, and making abortion 100% illegal impossible. Abortion should stay legal because on a average 49% of pregnancies are unintended. Most unplanned pregnancies the couples are in circumstances where they can't properly take care of the child. Woman of unintended pregnancies will look for ways to get rid of the babies. If abortion is illegal, it could put the woman in danger because they'll look for alternative ways of abortion. Woman who want abortions might have a “back-alley” abortion which could be coat hangers, illegal or unregulated pharmaceutical products, knitting needles or a punch to the stomach. Abortions are a “safer” way to “get rid” of an unwanted baby when it's over 24 weeks, but if it's under 24 weeks it's incapable of self-determination. Which means the fetus or baby is still technically a cell, but if it's over 24 weeks it's already developing organs and the necessary systems it needs to live. If the baby is over 24 weeks it's better to just have the baby then give it up for adoption.
