What is certain is that this phenomenon has definitely caught the attention of the media. And now there is some type of legal enforcement in all 50 states regarding sexting. A few years ago in 2009, Jessica Logan, 18, was a beautiful, vivacious, outgoing student in high school. Last year she sent a nude picture of herself to her then boyfriend who then sent it to a group of girls after he and Jessica broke up. What she had intended to be as private and intimate became public and the source of multiple humiliating texts and slurs. The cyber-bullying eventually led to Jessica taking her own life.
