Based on the statement above I would argue that the use of Solitary confinement is achieving its attending outcome of removing individuals and segregating them for safety or disciplinary actions. Although they are achieving there attending outcome I don't think it is healthy because they are achieving it at any cost including the health and welfare of individuals incarcerated. I argue this because although they want to discipline prisoners and keep them safe they need to way the benefits and outcome for that prisoner as whole.
