Arguments Against Racial Tension

A black boy is shot and killed by a local. A police officer shoots and kills an unarmed dark skinned male. Young minorities are forced to grow up too quickly because of a racial stereotype. These cases are all from a n age old issue that not only tears people apart, but can also bring them together. Regardless of the outcome, racial prejudice is plaguing our society and needs to cease. Racial Tension brings to local neighborhoods, riots in the streets, and turns our political system to disarray. Racial crimes are not only between white and blacks, but they are everywhere. This includes oiur local neighborhoods. Even though they may not be on the news. They include situations such as neighborhood rivalries and perhaps violence. Both parents and children are capable of racial profiling and stereotyping. From simply egging someones car to attacking them physically, these are an everyday occurence. This is not an issue to be taken lightly as people can be left hospitalized because of the words someone may have said. In another shade of light racial tension can come in more violent ways such as riots. Riots, a deadly and devastating result of something almost meaningless. This are also caused by our heads of state and other powerful leaders. Yet, after nearly eight years our black president is still being discrimnated agains, even at the highest of levels. This pitiful excuse causes legislations not to pass as a result of a mans color or beliefs. The freezes in our goverment are especially problamatic when dealing with cases involving with prejudice. Results are constantly being delayed due to prejudice toward another and not due to their thoughts or ideals. If this continues our society will crumble and we will be a shell of our earlier
