The latest issue of the NOW magazine features advertisements for sexual services that located at the back of the magazine starting from page 83 to 94. NOW magazine’s adult section is not a new occurrence, throughout history the magazine has published and profited from the content that exploits and objectified women’s bodies. Recently Canada introduced a prostitution legislation that prohibits third parties from promoting sexual services. Through further research, I have learned that NOW magazine has taken a stand against this law and has decided to continue publishing sexual services.
