The terrorist list watch list is a consolidated database of information about people known or reasonably suspected to have engaged in terrorism or related activities. The FBI keeps private watch list’s size, but according to a 2011 FBI fact sheet uncovered by PolitiFact, there were 420,000 members at the time. About 8,400 of those were American citizens of legal residence. The no-fly list had 16,000 names, 500 of them being American.
