Arguments Against Music Censorship

This censorship is not fair nor equal. People enjoy inappropriate lyrics, not because they’re bad people but that’s their favorite genre of music. We have all have different style of music because it reflects the type of people we are, how we cope with things, and how it can relate to us. We’re allowed to make music that helps us relieve some pain or any kind of emotion we’re trying to let out. Artists shouldn’t have to worry about what will be taken off the shelves of stores because of their vain language. What if it was the other way around? The music that wasn't using inappropriate language was taken off shelves and burned? The people who enjoyed that type of music would be incredibly upset. Now the question is who censors? It could be anyone but mainly the government and our society. As soon as someone hears or sees something they do not like they are quick to jump the gun and do everything in their power to get it removed. They chose to censor because they want to protect the opinions, beliefs and values that they and theirs hold and which they would like to see enforced throughout places. But they aren't thinking of the opinions of people who don't want things censored. Do they not matter? Is there opinions not relevant because the government or society doesn't agree with them. We should have a say on what we want and not allow people to hold us back without our voice being heard. I see censorship on a daily basis on how media will try to prevent people from sharing their ideas or thoughts. They’ll find ways to keep you from sharing what they might believe is harmful information. The government is responsible for much of the censorship occurring due to the law. The government has the power and all citizens of America follow their command. Censorship is no longer needed because information that could be deleted or hidden can be easily found somewhere else.
