Such a nuisance cannot be helped, but with the help of the many, we can silence the few who wish to take away our political and social freedoms. We need the legalization of marijuana to happen in the United States, for a plethora of reasons. Marijuana is used as a psychological healer for those who need a coping mechanism. It is used as a pain reliever for those who prefer a drug more natural than pharmaceuticals. It can be used as an economic stimulus, which everyone knows we are in dire need of. With the legalization of marijuana, comes justice and safety to its habitual users and the new prospectors of the drug. With the legalization of marijuana, comes a vast amount of social opportunities as well that we should not simply pass up as a result of such narrow-minded policy that was created long ago.
