Arguments Against Juvenile Offenders

Juveniles who have been tried as an adult, it is a tough and hard punishment to the adolescent offender. Life is priceless and we live it only once, nevertheless, what we do with it is to our own freedom of choice. They should not have to go through tough environment and becoming mentally, emotionally, and physically violent and feeling like they have to be hard on themselves. It is a disgrace that some people at younger ages decide to live a life of transgressions and become what we call adolescent criminals, but every action has their own consequence and to deal with these unlawful adolescent we have the Juvenile Department. The juvenile department system is a complex of agencies that deal with juveniles whose behavior has come in struggle with the law. These complex of agencies includes probation, police, court, prosecutor, and the Department of Juvenile Corrections. Nevertheless, when these young offenders commit a numerous amount of crimes and constantly being in trouble with the law, the court tends to waivered the juvenile into Adult Court where they will be subject to any punishment available. In some of these cases, the young offender is waived into the adult system automatically such as in homicide cases. During the course of this research paper you will see illustrations and substantiation that supports why juveniles shouldn’t be tried as an adult and how it affects the adolescent offenders.
