Voting is a core element to the process that keeps our system of government operational. Through elections, citizens have the ability to decide on who represents them in government, be it a local official, a state or national representative, or the president. When voting for a president we should not vote based on morals, but instead what that candidate can do to help restore this country. None of these presidential candidates are suitable for the position or have morality. However, I would have to vote for Donald Trump based on his stance on immigration and national defense.

I have been affected by the rapid growth of their presences. Immigrants receive benefits before many citizens. For example, many immigrants are given finical aid such as scholarships and grants for college. Whereas my parents supposedly make a high income so I receive no finical aid and have to turn to loans and currently in debt. The money given to immigrants should be given to those who pay taxes and contribute to American society. Another example, many immigrants get free healthcare. Whereas my husband is the only one working and he wasn't able to include me on the insurance so I applied for benefits and wasn't eligible. I feel that the United States invest in immigrants more than its own citizens and by voting for Donald Trump he would put an end to it. Trump's policy for immigration is to put the citizens first, and making sure we are given a fair opportunity in life and receive the services needed. According to the"Trump Pence Make America Great Again 2016" campaign page approved by Trump states multiple plans to put America first.
