There has been a long debate about gun control. Some people believe that gun control should be allowed and some don't. Gun control should be allowed because the 2nd amendment is a limited right, and gun control can reduce the loss of life.
First, The 2nd amendment is a limited right to own guns. Some Examples of gun control in the colonial ages include: making the transfer of guns to Catholics illegal, slaves, indentured servants, and Native Americans; regulating the storage of gunpowder in homes. Gun Owners are protected by the second amendment.
