The innocent, behind closed doors

Is the punishment for animal abuse enough?Animal abuse comes in a lot of different ways. It can be something as simple as not giving an animal that is under your care food or water and it is often called neglect. It is against the law even if it`s your own pet. There is still a lot of animal abuse around the world with so many different types of it. Would enforcing stronger laws help with animal abuse?

Most of the animal abuse is from fur farms where they skin animals alive for their fur. To make a 40-inch coat, it takes about 200 chinchilla`s or 16 coyotes, 60 mink ,or 20 foxes. The biggest fur producer is China. They slam animals against the wall to “stun them” but they are skinned alive. It takes them about to 20 minutes to die from a slow painful death. This is a very inhumane way to skin animals. Animals are protected by law, they have to be unconscious when getting killed or skinned. Even though it is the law, they are usually conscious.

Many companies use animals to see how they will react to their product. There are many companies out there that do not use animals for testing their products though and they have great products that people like you and me love and buy everyday.
