I know someone very well that was almost aborted as a baby and now is 19 years old in college getting a criminal justice degree and on the path to marriage, who will most likely save someone's life in his career. But what if he was aborted? His parents wouldn’t of seen him shoot his first deer or graduate highschool. Abortion is big business, the doctors who do the killing make millions a year-to kill babies. Abortion is murdering a living life and should be 100% illegal.

First we have suction abortion. This method use a vacuum tube that is 27 times stronger than a home vacuum is inserted into the womb and tears the baby's limbs up and the placenta and sucks into to a medical waste bottle. Then there is dilation and curettage. Ring forceps are inserted into the womb and the baby is taken apart piece by piece then a curettage (A sharp round knife) is inserted to scrape out the placenta and remains. Dilation and extraction is where forceps are inserted into the womb and clamps a limb and twists it and pulls it off. This method requires the doctor to use a lot of force. Then the doctor clamps the head crushes the skull and snaps the spine. When all the parts are removed the doctor reassembles the parts outside and makes sure no parts are left. Often a part is left in the womb and causes serious complications and sometimes death. The last one is Partial birth abortion and this one is done on a baby from 4-9 months. The baby can not be causing harm and be perfectly healthy but still be aborted. The doctor pulls the baby out legs first and deliver it all except the head. Scissors are inserted into the baby's head and a suction tube sucks the babys brain out so the skull collapses easier. Abortion is very brutal and happens all over the U.S and I think it should be illegal. Dr. Levintinos and Dr. Brewers experiences really made me heart shatter. The fact that our country lets that happen is and it happens every day multiple times makes me sick to my stomach. Those experiences are why I'm completely against this. There may be a few circumstances where I might understand why it happened like a small child that was raped but that doesn’t mean I'm ok with it at all, a baby is still being murdered and doesn’t deserve that but for a small child to carry a baby isn’t ethical. So either way I am completely against this and always will be and I have my reasons to back

Dilation and Extraction is done by ripping the body parts apart. The head is then crushed and sucked out of the woman’s body. There are evident signs that babies feel pain while this is being done. They react the same way as a born baby would. However, they cannot cry out for help; the baby is completely…

Living in a world filled with people of different cultures, religions, and personalities, it is impossible to think that with every situation that presents itself in American that mutual agreement upon it will be made. In the news, we constantly hear debates about gay-marriage, police brutality, racism, and many other incidents in America that bring out the inner activists of our people. Most debates over these controversies are no surprise to the public because they have been going on for years. One in particular is the debate about abortions. Since 1973, the world has been divided into two distinct groups of “Pro-life” and “Pro-choice” due to the landmark case of Roe v. Wade.…

Of the several topics discussed so far in this class, this one has certainly caught my interest the most. My personal opinion is that abortion is an immoral choice but not always, depending on what the specific circumstances are. I have a moderate view on abortion which can be defined as, “moderates are willing to morally allow abortions in some cases and not others, but they give different reasons for doing so.” (White 84) People’s opinions are easily altered on this topic especially when it comes to personal experiences.…

Abortion is a touchy issue. Many say it is okay, others are totally against it, and some think it’s acceptable, depending of the circumstances. In my opinion, it’s wrong and not at all necessary, unless in the case of pregnancy, the mother is informed she will perish during the pregnancy term. Science continues to say a fetus is only a small “lump of tissue” but it isn’t, it’s human, it is a life. We are taught, “You shall not murder,” yet there are about 100, 000 lives aborted yearly.…

Imagine never having the chance to make any decisions in your life. Never being able to fall in love, smell the fresh air, feel the warm sunlight on your cheeks, or even decide to live or not. An estimated 125,000 people a day are given no chance for life. This is because we live in a country where it is illegal to harm a bald eagle egg, but it’s okay to kill a baby and sell it’s body parts. During an interview Chris Smith stated, "Since 1973, well over 54 million babies have had abortion forced upon them."…

Abortion is the conscious decision to choose to end a pregnancy. Although gruesome, an abortion is, in simple, nonmedical terms when a child inside the womb is torn apart and taken out of the mother’s body. In some events, when it’s been more than twenty-four weeks of pregnancy, the doctor is forced to pull the fetus out of the mother and stab in in the neck with a sharp item. The brain is then sucked out of the neck with a vacuum like medical tool. Due to the amount of research and knowledge we have on the human body, nowadays there is also an option to abort a child by ingesting pills.…

Many have different reason to why they do, but either way it is wrong and it should not be legal. Throughout the years, the abortion rate has gone up severely. All of the abortions that happen can not just be from health issues or rape. A study shows that many abortions recently are just because the mother is not ready for a baby. “In 2010, more than half of all pregnancies were unintended in 28 states; in the remainder of the states, a minimum of 36% of pregnancies were unintended” (Wind, 1).…
