How many of you think it's wrong to hurt animals?
So you already believe in being a vegetarian.

Good evening to one and all present here.

Today I stand before you to talk about the worlds forgotten victims, THE ANIMALS
And the worlds oldest and strongest addiction, MEAT!
I'm not here to challenge any religion as no religion preaches animal abuse. Every religion which has come into existence has only bought message of love.

Mahatma Gandhi said the greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated. If it is so, I do not consider us as a great nation.
Each year tens of thousands of animals are brutally murdered here, some of which are still babies. Before they even get a chance to judge

There's no lack of protein rich veg food. I do not need meat for any possible reason.
Don't you think there are some rights that animals should have? What rights do they deserve? Animals should have each and every right as humans, it's not fair to treat these creatures like they're nothing. Abusing animals is one of the worst things any human being can do, and its not fair to disrespect any animal like this. Animals deserve rights, regardless of how they taste or how convenient it is to experiment on them. Like humans, animals are capable of suffering and have an interest in leading their own lives. They are not ours to use for food, clothing, experimentation or entertainment.

Above all of it, even if all what I said was not true, still, eating meat cannot be justified. how can a living creature be sold on the shelves of a supermarket. No one gave us any right to put a price tag on them. We aren't such beings. We are compassionate people. I believe that There is some humanity still left. Animals were put on this earth to live with us and not for us. Let's prove it to them that we too know how to love.

I would like to conclude with the lines of Albert

Many show that a major issue in animal welfare should be solved by vegetarianism and not torture animals to get their meat. As Freeman argues, “animals used for food in the United States are commonly treated like unfeeling tools of production, rather than living, feeling animals,” (Freeman 170). Many feel the need to reduce meat because of animal cruelty, and not because of the welfare of the…
