Year round skin protection
In many parts of the country, the sun pays attention to the changing seasons and takes a break for a few weeks or even months, but not so much in Florida. In the Sunshine State, clear skies and the brightly shining sun are a year-round blessing and a year-round hazard. Florida dermatologists are doing a booming business slicing cancerous lesions of the faces of middle-aged Floridians. Like so many things in adult life, skin protection is another area where prevention is much less costly and much less awful than the cure.
