Argumentative Essay: Women's Fight In Battle

Women should fight in battle for many reasons. Two women just graduated from the Army’s elite Ranger School, but they never get to go on missions because they’re female. Historically, women have played a major role on the home front. Usually women would play as a nurse and help any wounded soldiers or they would stay home. The Navy first allowed women to enlist and serve in 1917 during World War 1. During the 62 day program, these two women Kristen Griest and Shaye Haver were the first women to graduate from Ranger school, but they are not allowed to go on missions because they’re female. If they know how to fight and handle a gun, they should be able to go on missions and save people. Why won’t military leaders let these female soldiers fight in war. Back in February, the Defence department announced new policies that eased restrictions on jobs women could do in the military, which opened up more than 14,000 positions to women so they can do more. Military leaders should give these female soldiers a chance and fight in war. Fighting in battle and going on missions is dangerous and only men should fight in battle. But there are a lot of brave females out there that would fight in battles and go on missions but they won’t allow it. Fighting in battle is also very risky because a lot of men that fight in battle do not make it to their 40th birthday. Some people are against women fighting in battle and some encourage women to fight in battle. There are women that really want to fight in battle and train everyday. As you can see, military leaders should let females fight in battle and go on missions, Military leaders should also give them a chance and think about women fighting in
