Argumentative Essay: Why Do People Take Dog Parks?

When it comes to the topic of dog parks I believe, in my own personal opinion, that they would be very beneficial to everyone. People with their dogs could finally have a place to take their dogs so they, and their owners, can interact with eachother and develop friendships. Most cities have a leash law which causes pet owners not to give their pets the necessary type of excersise they may need, dog parks could fix all of that in a heart beat. I know some people may complain about the noise and the traffic but come on, do you really think people are going to take their dogs to the park late enough that you'll already be in bed? Some people may argue about the taxes that are being brought in because of the dog park, but in all reality aren't they already paying taxes that they don't want to or believe they should have to already? Some cities already have dog parks and it has cause a huge improvement on the behavior of dogs. Just like humans dogs need friends too, so that means, just like you and me, your dog needs to go out and meet new …show more content…
For this reason, if no other, we should have a dog park just for the well being and general care of our dogs. Some people will ask why you got a dog if you knew you weren't going to have enough space to give them the excercise they need, I am here to tell you right now that's not how it always happens. Sometimes you will be living somewhere and have acres of land for your dog to run and jump all over, but in the blink of an eye that can all change. You may have to downsize your available space and then what are you going to do just get rid of your dog? If you are a sane warm hearted person of course you wouldn't, but many do not see it that way and think we shouldnt accomodate to people who have a pet but just unfortunate
