College has been seen again and again as a stepping stool in a person’s life to get where one like to be. We spend 1/3 of our life going to school to learn, interact, socialize and earn a degree. How much of that is worth it? Why should we spend so long just for a piece of paper? Are too many people and the competition worth all the pain, financial stress, and imbalances in a person’s life? College is only getting more expensive by the year, and everyone deserves to go to college to learn, but students should go after they are mature to make a decision that will affect the rest of their lives.
