Argumentative Essay: Why Cats Are Better Than Dogs

Having a pet is one of the most favorite things everyone of us would want. They are the one who can make us happy and be entertained. Example of this are cats, dogs, hamsters, rabits, and etc.

Thesis statement:
When an elderly person is deciding on a pet, adopting a cat is a far better option than adopting a dog.
I. Cats can help elderly person to reduce his/her stress.
A. As of my research in healthypets.mercola.com, the sound of cat’s purr can lower your blood pressure and reduce stress.
B. Cats are also much more behave than dogs.
C. Base on our survey cats are much more caring than dogs.
II. Cat’s are not an exhausting pet.
A. In terms of cleanliness.
1. Base on research, 80% chance cat’s usually clean its body while dogs is only 30%.
