Have you ever not gotten enough sleep because of your school's too early start time? I know I have. School is starting too early for kids to do well and be happy at school. Having a school start later is beneficial when a teen needs 8.5 hours of sleep, a reduced risk of depression, and to simply get better test scores. Every kid needs their sleep! There a ton of reasons a school could do better by simply just starting later. Yeah, school's important, but I still need my sleep.
