“What’s wrong with child labor? Those kids need to do more with their life. They need to work, not just sit around and have everyone else do everything for them.” Well, you’re right about one thing; the children need to do more with their life, but as far as child labor goes, it shouldn’t be the only way the kids have to do more. There is more beneath the surface of child labor that you might not have known. Have you considered whether the kids are dealing with harmful chemicals that could affect them in the long run or working over 12 hours a day sweating profusely and possibly having their hands swollen from working?
