1940s. Where countries were at war, millions of people were killed, severely tortured, and devastating weapons were created and used to wipe out populations.
One particular tragedy, The Holocaust, holds a special place in my mind.
While it was a genocide of the Jewish people, it was also used for significant scientific advancements in biology, chemistry, and psychology. I believe, that in this tragedy there was a silver lining. We could use the research the Nazis gathered to further our knowledge to what the human body can take, and what the bare necessities for the human body are.
