In a typical university or college, every student is required to take general education for acquiring any kind of degree. When a student decides to take a class at the university, usually the price per class is determined by how many credits the class offers. Everyone has been in a situation where you are told not to do something, but know deep down it's the right thing to do. Many soldiers face this situation on a daily basis. One of the things that determines whether a soldier should fire or not is the Rules of War/Engagement. Growing up, most of us know what we are going to be. Whether it be a dancer, a rocket scientist, or a police officer, we have an idea of what path we want our life to travel. As children these ideas have a wider variety because we are told that we can be anything we want. If this is true, then why should kids who want to be dancers and kids who want to be rocket scientists go through the exact same education system for 12 years (at least)? This brings up a large, controversial, problem within the education system, which deals with uniqueness among students and how they are treated as a mass, rather than as individuals.…
