The Nightmare Before Christmas argument essay

The Nightmare Before Christmas, By Tim Burton. It took 10 years to make and may take you a little longer to decide. Some people think the movie is more about Halloween, and some people think The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Christmas movie. I believe that The Nightmare Before Christmas movie is more of a Halloween movie.

The first piece of evidence is because, the setting in the movie is mainly in Halloween Town. And some of the songs are about Halloween like, “This Is Halloween”, and “Kidnap The Sandy Claws”. But, this movie also has Christmas characters, Santa, Mrs.Claus, and some of the little children that Jack delivered the scary presents to. But the movie only shows mainly Halloween …show more content…
Because there is: Jack, the Mayor, Oogie Boogie, Dr. Finklestein, The Harlequin Demon, The Corpse Kid, Under Sea Gal, The Clown With The Tear Away Face, Barrel. And Man Under The Stairs, Corpse Mom, Vampire 1, Corpse Dad, Sally, Vampire #2, Lock, Shock, Big Witch, Mr. Hyde, Behemoth, Vampire #3, Wolf-man, Mummy, Sax Player. These are all Halloween characters. They are shown in the movie more than Santa Claus and other Christmas characters.

Lastly, someone could agree with me because, they give out to children scary and gross presents. They gave a little boy a dead man’s head, and a pair of twins some bats in a tree. There are many more, like the man-eating Christmas wreath and a wooden shot duck on a skate board. Those are not the kinds of presents you should get on Christmas. You should get some shoes, clothes or something like those things.

Other people may think that The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie. They think that The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Christmas movie because, Santa and Mrs. Claus is in the movie. Also, Jack wants to take the Christmas holiday, so he gives presents to the children. The town that the children live in is decorated with lots of Christmas things, also. I think this is a Halloween movie, not a Christmas
