Argumentative Essay: The New White House

Our group did the conspiracy that the elite will go to the Ozarks to survive a nuclear fallout, or some other natural disaster. We concluded that it is possible that it will be the new White House. This is a very interesting conspiracy that indeed does hold some ground. It is not by any means far out there that this is not a 1 family home. It is the 6th largest residential home in the world. The owner of the home said that he wanted to test out his new materials, however, it is likely that this is a cover up. You do not need 72,000 square feet to test how good the material is. This mansion is absolutely without a doubt very safe and impenetrable. This would provide the necessary protections for the individual in power to have operations, and hide if necessary, in the vast tunnel system. I personally think that it is likely this is a government facility of some sort. The odds stack heavily against the claim that this is a single family home. There are 13 bedrooms which is fairly unusual for something of this size, but for one family 13 rooms that are very large is not necessary. The home sits atop a fairly large plot. The place comes with over 500 acres which may not seem like a lot when you hear what farmers have; however, that is the size of North Webster. I was not really shocked by the true …show more content…
The town of Ozark is an odd place to say the least. It is not a major city, yet is has 100 banks. It has a bank for every 53 people which is odd. 53 people cannot keep one bank running unless they are extremely wealthy. It is odd that there are so many banks and it raises a good question. Why is so much money moving through the town of Ozark? A town only 1/10th the size of Fort Wayne. Also, the population is interesting. Since 1995 it has grown over 300% which is odd for a town that is not a major marketplace. These raise questions, like who is moving in? As well as

Stretching over 440 miles, the Natchez Trace has been traveled by many. The original Natchez Trace was a roadway that connected frontier settlements in Tennessee, Kentucky and the Ohio Valley with the lower Mississippi River. Sections of the original road, however, followed ancient Native American trails that had been in use for thousands of years before European explorers arrived in North America. It once was an essential trade route for farmers, Indians, and boatmen. The Natchez Trace links three of the largest water courses in the United States; Cumberland River, Tennessee River, and Mississippi River.…

After looking at both parties positions, I can say I am not surprised by the stances they have taken on the issue represented. For the democrat stances, many of their ideas favoured equality and calling for progress and change on many prominent issues. Such as how Democrats called for "policies and investments in order to keep America's public lands public". On the opposite side of this issue, the Republicans stated that that "our air and waterways are much healthier than they were a few decades ago". This stance from the Republicans shows how their more conservative and traditional views correlate to these stances on the topics.…

All the years I’ve lived on Elm Street I have never seen any sign of life in the house across the street, except a family that moved in and moved out only a few weeks later. It’s kind of mysterious actually, and I’ve always wanted to go up to it and walk in to explore. My parents have told me the things they have heard about the house, like there was an “old man whose wife passed away right there in the house, and her spirit still lurks”, maybe that’s why the families have never stayed for more than a month. Sometimes I’ve even caught myself staring at the house from my top window trying to spot things. I want to uncover the real truth about the house that I find myself overwhelmed.…

Hungry for Change Why is it that law mandates public school meals have a minimum calorie intake, but not a maximum? This owes itself to the fact that when nutrition standards were established for public schools, it was to solve the problem of undernourishment. The majority of school aged children used to walk to school, played more outside, and were more active in sports. This resulted in children burning more calories than school meals provided.…
