Argumentative Essay: The Murder Of Michael Brown

Flashing News! Eighteen year old boy Michael Brown shot to death in the middle of the streets! Michael was shot to death when encountering the police while walking down the streets in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael Brown was unarmed when he was shot, although according to USA Today he assaulted the officer prior to being shot. Since the shooting many have come together and have been protesting and rioting some peacefully, some not. Tear gas has been used to disperse the crowds that did not protest peacefully, many have been arrested for their behavior and police officers have been injured. School was postponed due to the unsafety in the streets of Ferguson, police have been receiving many death treats since the shoot, but who’s in the right? Michael Brown should not have been shot, the police are wrong for the way they are going …show more content…
Darren Wilson shot Michael six times, four times in the arm and twice in the head, for him to shoot at Michael that many times is unnecessary. Michael reached for the police’s gun during a struggle between the two of them, I believe it was out of self-defense Darren Wilson used to much force on Michael. Darren Wilson needs to be charged with murder, He’s getting off with taking a child’s life; Michael had done nothing and was just walking. Police are also arresting people for demanding justice for Michael, as Americans we have the right to protest. Brown was not connected with the robbery before he was shot, which all shots were fired from the front of Brown. A witness statement stated that Brown was hit as he ran away from the police, but the report from Times can contradict that cause of the finding that the shots were fired from the front. Are witnesses lying to cover up for Officer
