I do believe there should be a punishment put in place for Riddle for killing her husband should have not been the answer to stopping her husband from abusing her. Instead of her murdering him she could have reported it to authority’s and had the police department involved, and gotten that evil that is her husband out of her life and having her husband brought to justice and to make sure he does not do that to anyone ever again. She also could have seeked counseling and talked to people about her problems she was having with her husband and then having a counselor give Riddle a few ways to handle the situation with her husband which could also have been go to the police or just leave her husband.
The main type of justice that is beefing used in this case is procedural justice for Riddle is being tried as anyone else who would face the same crime in a criminal trial, for the expert on the Battered spouse syndrome has not yet appeared and explain why it is a significant reason why Riddle had used self defense to kill her husband to stop him from abusing her and mistreating her and that it is a medically justified syndrome that is brought upon by a spouse being mistreated and that killing Butte was the only means of which Riddle could stop the mistreatment and abuse from her husband Michael
