Marijuana is known as cannabis that’s been around for decades. In the American society, the drug has caused uproar in states, Colorado and California are examples, on whether it should be legalized or not (Barone 3). The highly controversial issues are over letting patients with diseases intake marijuana as medication, even though the cannabis was first introduced as a drug that causes negative symptoms to the brain and body.
