Argumentative Essay: The Issue Of Gun Violence

In 2015, 12,223 people died because of gun incidents. Gun violence is a substantial issue that should not be taken lightly. Gun violence should not be taken lightly because many people are losing their lives at faster speeds because of guns and the people who choose to pull that trigger and take off the safety. After thorough investigation we found that gun violence is a serious issue but there are other issues to worry about relating to gun violence that are important and add to the death of others. Mental health is a factor is most gun incidents that result in death. According to a CNN article titled ‘American Sniper’ widow: Gun Control won't protect us “If you have never owned a weapon, or have never known that mass is a peaceful gun owners who love their families and are nurturing professionals such as counseling. In another article by Time named ‘13 year old: I'm scared of gun violence in America’ “ This lack of action is why thousands of people across America continue to die due to the narrowing effects of gun violence” This is understandable but people are dying because others pull the trigger the gun does not go off without trigger being pulled and the safety being off. This shows that gun violence is something that needs to be watched or payed close attention to because people are losing their lives just because people are not doing thorough background checks and if they aren't doing background checks they need to start doing it because our lives are being taken, innocent lives at times and it's just it's sad to know
