Argumentative Essay: The Great Debate On Immigration

If you ask a person about what they imagine when they hear the word "America" They might imagine many different things. For some view the red, white, and blue colors, or our strong military force, or even the Statue of Liberty. For others imagine freedom, opportunities, and hope. When people think of America they think of Freedom, courage, red white and blue colors. For some its Personally I consider America to be one of the bets countries in the world. America has a great military defense, and a great government ruled by the people. However no country is perfect therefore my vision for America in order to be considered a better country would consist of changing certain things. The people who protect our lives and the reason we feel safe in this country. Veterans do get certain benefits, such as home loan guarantees and education but I think America should grant and provide them with more, like better a household and more health care benefits. Another act I feel America should change would be the great debate on Immigration. As president Barack Obama said "We are and always will be a nation of immigrants." I believe America is made of immigrants from all over the world, and no race should be discriminated. Early explores traveled from the other side of the world to find a better life. Our founding Fathers said that all men should be created equal and deserve the same rights as any other individual. Immigrants are being deported just because of their race. The fact that the government deports them not caring about the families they leave behind especially kids makes me feel livid. There are many immigrants in America who are hard workers looking for a better life providing a better future for their children yet get criticize by many of being bad people who are criminals and should be kicked out of the country just because they were not born here.
