Imagine driving along an empty road at night when, all of a sudden, your car has a head-on collision with a Hummer with the force of a thousand raging bulls. The Hummer is not a car but rather a symbol for something infinitely more horrendous. The Hummer represents all of the effects of changing the driving law of 18 to 16, and right now we are the only ones who can stop this terrifying monster from entering our legal system. The first reason this law should be put off the road is because children are responsible at 16 and all other notions are ludicrous. Secondly, it is paramount that we instill these children with the responsibility of handling a car so that they may learn to handle life's problems and maybe ours. Lastly, they need cars because they are the future of our planet and if we refuse to give them cars they might die because they will not have experience on the road. Therefore, children should get cars at 16.

Children need more time behind the wheel and it greatly matters that this happens at 16 rather than 18 because they will know their car better. Do you want the road home from your house to look like a scene from the movie Mad Max? Of course not, why people insist on 18-year-olds driving cars is beyond me but I do know I want drivers to have experience driving.
