I thought it was completely against my moral standards [for a President] when Bill Clinton had Sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. It seems like it is the norm behavior now. The Affordable Care Act and how it was implemented was stupid, in my judgment. I really was for the single payer model. My feeling is that the Democratic Party should quit whining over Hillary Clinton's loss to Donald Trump. [That horse has left the barn, figuratively speaking] The part I felt disappointed with the Democratic Party is, that Hillary Clinton and the DNC were getting to be bedfellows with free trade, privatization, the money changers and deregulation. In other words, they lost their focus on really helping the little guy, and jumping to the defense of capitalist that prey on that little guy. The Democratic party became the party of soft Republican plagiarism. the Democratic Party used to be there to help the common laborer and the labor unions. They were there to create a balance against organized business. They have become soft advocates for the common joe on America's main street. It is my belief that Bernie Sanders would have beaten Donald Trump, the numbers show that. But the people saw Hillary Clinton as their money machine. Why do you think that the DNC got the super delegates together before the first primary vote was cast? That reason my friend was to build political and financial capital. they wanted the …show more content…
In the end, I voted for Clinton. The turning point is when I heard his comment on the bus with Bush, the TV star. There was so many women that said he groped them, gosh I wondered what he would do in the White House? Would he be another Bill Clinton? With three daughters, how could I look them in the face knowing I voted for another sex depraved deviant. So that is the main reason I voted for Clinton, I didn't think she [Hillary Clinton] would curry sexual favors while being President. So Richard, I feel that both parties should be

Clinton's presidency was a seemingly long hard road. During his second term as President, He was impeached due to charges of lying under oath to a grand jury and obstruction of justice. However, the real underlying reason for the impeachment was Clinton’s denial of the Lewinsky Affair. The public opinion of the Lewinsky Affair allowed the Republican party to create a political strategy to use against Clinton. “Contending that Clinton had committed perjury, Republican leaders made the affair the centerpiece of their quest to defeat Democrats in the 1998 congressional elections” (Jansson, 2012,p.398).…

During most controversial topics, people tend to favorite one side without hearing an opposing view. Growing up in a predominantly white high school and college for Kailegh Tinnin and myself, only gave us unanswered questions about our society when it came to racial discussions. Why do we live in a world that acts negative without a discussion when someone disagrees with our opinions? Kailegh had racial slurs directed at her in high school.…

When a president misbehaves we have no other choice to punish them by throwing them out of office, but what counts as a punishable crime? When the Constitution was drafted no set guidelines for impeachment except the line “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors against the state. While treason and bribery sound clear enough, high crimes and misdemeanors can be interpreted differently causing the true meaning to be fuzzy and unclear. Earlier cases of Executive branch wrong-doings, such as Watergate, caused congress to pass an Independent Counsel Law, creating a separate panel of judges to appoint investigators un-attached to the executive branch. It was deemed necessary to create the Independent Counsel so the executive branch was not investigating itself.…

After looking at both parties positions, I can say I am not surprised by the stances they have taken on the issue represented. For the democrat stances, many of their ideas favoured equality and calling for progress and change on many prominent issues. Such as how Democrats called for "policies and investments in order to keep America's public lands public". On the opposite side of this issue, the Republicans stated that that "our air and waterways are much healthier than they were a few decades ago". This stance from the Republicans shows how their more conservative and traditional views correlate to these stances on the topics.…

Quoting from Schlafly whose article was included in Donald Critchlow’s Debating the American Conservative Movement: “Our Judeo-Christian civilization has developed the law and custom that, since women must bear the physical consequences of the sex act, men must be required to bear the other consequences and pay in other ways.” Schlafly contended that the ERA would “force women to work outside the home, abolish alimony and child support, and make women subject to the military draft.”…

There has always been a shroud of fog around the personal matters of the Clinton’s, but underneath that shroud there is a hidden evil that is incomparable to any other American politician. The Clinton’s have been involved in many conspicuous affairs including White Water and the Ives/Henry case. They also have been involved in around 100 deaths of people close to them or people who worked for them. They have used witness intimidation and other scare tactics to harass witnesses into not testifying, and if they don’t agree, they are normally dead within days. Because of the amount of Clinton body guards that have been killed, the Ives Henry case, Whitewater, and the amount of the Clinton’s fellow party members that have died around them, it is…

Hungry for Change Why is it that law mandates public school meals have a minimum calorie intake, but not a maximum? This owes itself to the fact that when nutrition standards were established for public schools, it was to solve the problem of undernourishment. The majority of school aged children used to walk to school, played more outside, and were more active in sports. This resulted in children burning more calories than school meals provided.…
